Northern Territory Profile Improvement workshops a huge success

Over 200 local suppliers throughout the Northern Territory have maximised their chances of winning contracts through their ICN Gateway profile.

The suppliers have attended profile improvement workshops during 2016, and now know how to correctly complete and enhance their profile, as well as how to submit winning expressions of interest (EOIs).

With each workshop limited to only 20 people, the three hour sessions covered such topics as what an effective gateway profile looks like and how to improve their own profiles, as well as what to include in an EOI and what happens once it is submitted.

‘Major projects, including Jemena’s Northern Gas Pipeline (NGP) and Seafarms Project Sea Dragon are using ICN Gateway to communicate opportunities to local industry,’ ICN NT CEO Kevin Peters said.

‘Meanwhile, we are seeing more and more smaller, regional suppliers winning subcontracting tenders to these projects thanks largely to Gateway, as well as through working with an ICN consultant.’

‘There has never been a better time for small and medium businesses to take advantage of the raft of opportunities in the Territory, and we are so pleased that so many took advance of these intimate workshops in order to better position themselves.’
