Update to eWay payments

Gateway subscribers may be affected by upcoming changes to eWay, the secure payment system that ICN uses to process Gateway subscriptions.

These changes will improve both the security and performance of the payment facility and will affect those with outdated browsers.

By early 2017, all Gateway subscribers will need to update their browsers to one of the following:

  • Chrome 30
  • Internet Explorer 11
  • IE 10 (if TLS v1.2 is manually enabled)
  • Firefox 27
  • Safari 7

‘This update to eWay will improve the privacy and security of your Gateway payments,’ ICN Limited’s Ken McCutcheon said. ‘While we appreciate there may be some issues with the changes, we recommend that best practice for your business is to ensure you are running the most up-to-date version of any browser.’

If you are unsure whether your browser is suitable, please talk to your local IT support area.
