Autumn Capability News

Can you believe we are already a quarter of the way through 2017, and it has been a great start to the year for a number of SMEs around the country.

ICN has been busy this year helping suppliers secure projects, and we are pleased that our efforts have been rewarded.

In Queensland, local companies have won more than $58m worth of business as part of the $1.6 billion Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, the largest Australian Government funding commitment to a single road project in Queensland’s history.

Meanwhile, over in South Australia and Western Australia, our State offices are working with Chevron Australia Pty Ltd in a collaborative agreement to advertise opportunities on its Gorgon Stage 2 (GS2) and Great Australian Bight (GAB) projects. Both of these projects present enormous opportunities in a range of different industries. In fact, the Gorgon Project is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource development in Australia's history.

Finally,  as part of our commitment to helping Australian and New Zealand SMEs gain recognition and traction with major projects, including opportunities within Government, we are offering workshops and other value-adds to our subscribers.

We hope you enjoy reading this edition, and we look forward to continuing to support Australian industry.
