ICN Victoria supports industry
As part of its commitment to provide Victorian SMEs with the tools they need to win more project work, ICN Victoria is providing a range of workshops and training sessions aimed at local industry keen to capitalise on opportunities.
During the first half of the year, there are two workshops scheduled:

Small Business Victoria Workshops Program – Maximise your chances of winning government business

When you know how it works, Government can be your largest and best customer, but we understand that the procurement process may be overwhelming.
Developed by Government itself, this workshop is designed for business owners and employees tasked with winning new business who are planning to tender for Government contracts.
This workshop will help demystify Government procurement, explain terminology, highlight the differences between each level of Government, and show you how proposals are evaluated so you can gear yours for success.
Workshop attendees will receive a comprehensive and easy to use workbook and reference guide with tips to improve your competitive advantage when tendering for Government business, as well as a template Government tender response.
The workshop also offers networking opportunities with other local businesses and a follow-up pack with hints, tips and links to valuable resources.

Complex tender writing

Focusing on both government and commercial tendering practices, this workshop will teach you how to prepare high-quality tender and quotation responses.
It aims to equip SMEs with to the tools and knowledge to increase their chance of winning contracts and includes information on the tender process, as well as how to meet expectations and score highly on tenders.
The workshop leader, Deirdre Diamante, is the founder and principal of MIA Consulting Services and has 15 years’ experience in procurement and governance roles.
Learn from her intimate knowledge of procurement environments, including Government tenders, procurement, ICT, probity and industry development.
