The South Australian Industry Participation Policy (SAIPP) is aimed at delivering greater economic contribution to South Australia from government procurement.
This policy creates additional value for South Australian businesses and the State’s economy that should be considered when assessing tenders.
This value includes:
- employment workforce development
- improved industry capability and capacity through capital investment
- retention of economic activity in the State
- additional value-adding activities, innovation and supply chain development
