Dianne Smith
CEO
ICN Victoria

 

Dianne Smith is a proud Victorian, passionate about growing industry capability and local jobs with a well-connected business and government network across Victoria. Prior to ICN, Dianne held various senior positions including Chief Executive at the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce and Chief Executive of the Victoria Tourism Industry Council. Her skills include Government Relations, Advocacy and Communications, Business and Industry Development, and Commercial Operational Management. Dianne was appointed to the Victorian Ministerial Advanced Manufacturing Advisory Council (2016-2018 and is currently a Board Director on the Emerald Tourist Railway Board.

Andrew Bradley
Senior Industry Advisor
ICN Victoria

Having joined ICN Victoria in 2007 as Grampians Regional Manager, Andrew is currently the Senior Industry Liaison, a position that is crucial to delivering the state government’s Local Jobs First Policy. Andrew has extensive experience in this field and works cross-functionally within ICN to ensure that all of our customers’ needs are met.
Maintaining and improving the level of Australian businesses with onshore operations acts as one of Andrew’s key motivators, which in turn involves regularly bringing together project owners, buyers, and suppliers from across the state to Help Local Win.

Nat Anson
Director
Urbis Geelong

Nat Anson is an innovative strategic planner with extensive experience in master planning across Melbourne’s growth corridors and Victoria’s regional cities and towns.
A Geelong local, Nat leads Urbis’ exciting expansion into the Geelong region. He is passionate about creating growth and economic development opportunities in regional cities and specialises in stakeholder engagement – strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Urbis, Nat held senior management positions in strategic planning departments at State and Local Government including the Victorian Planning Authority.
Nat’s most recent experience at the City of Greater Geelong had him leading the delivery of the largest master planning project ever undertaken in Regional Victoria – the Northern and Western Geelong Growth Areas Framework Plan.

Rob Mackie
Gas Terminal Project Manager
Viva Energy

Rob has more than 20 years in the hydrocarbon industry incorporating various process industry roles within the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors as well as the chemicals sector.  He has experience across operations and Projects where he has led and developed large teams.

Rob has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) with Honours degree from the University of Melbourne.

Mark Havryluk
Director
Regional Rail Revival

Mark oversees the development and delivery of the $4 billion Regional Rail Revival, which is upgrading every passenger rail line in Victoria, and leads the coordination and integration of the program with other relevant infrastructure projects and public transport stakeholders.
Regional Rail Revival – a joint initiative of the Australian and Victorian governments – is in full swing and is already delivering significant benefits for regional Victorians.
Mark has extensive project development, delivery, engineering and advisory experience and has worked on some of the largest transport and rail infrastructure projects in Australia and globally, including the Metro Tunnel.

Rebecca Lee
Principal Social Procurement Adviser
ICN Victoria

Rebecca Lee is the Principal Social Procurement Adviser at ICN Victoria. Her work with ICN Victoria encompasses three years in the Local Jobs First Policy team, and she now brings this experience in policy implementation to the Social Procurement Framework.
Rebecca has experience in driving effective policy implementation and compliance from her previous role as Policy Compliance Team Leader. She has aspirations for social and sustainable procurement practices and is enjoying applying her background in Women and Gender studies to the Building Equality Policy program for ICN Victoria.

Geoff Daley
PPP Project Director
Development Victoria

Geoff Daley is the PPP Project Director for the Geelong Convention Exhibition Centre Project.  He is part of the team at Development Victoria tasked with the procurement of the Project on behalf of Regional Development Victoria. Geoff has worked on over 20 PPPs on the private sector side, including as a sponsor, financial advisor and lawyer.
One of his key interests on GCEC is embedding local supply chains including social procurement into the process and has worked with ICN since the beginning of 2022 on the project.

Meg Price
Head of Grow, SENVIC Barwon SouthWest Local Lead
GROW21

Meg Price is the Head of GROW, with the Give Where You Live Foundation. Meg is passionate about tackling complex social issues to create positive change and has 16 years’ experience in the social sector, across Federal and Victorian Government Agencies and the Not-for-Profit sector, along with experience serving on Not-for-Profit Boards. The GROW Network is made up of Victorian businesses, government and community organisations in the G21 Region and across Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton and Gippsland. The GROW Network works together to create regional pathways to employment and more job opportunities for people with barriers to work, particularly people experiencing long-term unemployment, along with supporting equity and a stronger Victorian regional economy through social procurement.

Ross Mahon
Executive Director
Deakin Research Innovations

Ross has had a long manufacturing career in Australia and overseas including, senior roles with Deakin Partners, Futuris and Quickstep.  Ross is responsible for positioning Deakin University as a leader in research translation through innovation that: creates impact, develops new products, services and ways of operating for industry, government and, other public and private sector organisations and communities.
In this role, Ross will contribute to the strategy, development and management of the Deakin research innovation eco-system and be responsible for the network of Deakin Futures platforms and programs that enable innovation and translation
