Attend this latest project briefing to learn about the North East Link Tunnels Work Packages.
North East Link is Victoria’s biggest ever road project. Spark – a team of leading Australian and international builders appointed to construct new 6.5km-long twin tunnels – are seeking Expressions of Interest from select small and medium enterprises.
At this event, Spark will outline the upcoming opportunities for local industry to participate in the North East Link Tunnels. This industry briefing event is an opportunity for you to learn about the upcoming work packages, how to submit your Expression of Interest and get your questions answered during the Q&A session.
There will also be opportunities to network with fellow industry professionals and the Spark team to build connections that will help benefit your business.
THE PRESENTERS
- Greg Sparkman – Construction Director. Greg will introduce the Spark team and provide an update on the project.
- Jackie Aggett – Commercial Director. Jackie will present the upcoming procurement opportunities.
- Joe Piasecki – Social Procurement Manager. Joe will discuss the importance of social procurement and our commitment to achieving our targets.
You will also hear from ICN Victoria’s Manager – Industry Engagement and our MC, Andrew Bradley, about how the ICN Gateway supports the supply chain by helping suppliers find opportunities with projects and assisting them register their interest in work packages at no cost.
THE PROJECT
The North East Link Tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen will finally fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network – slashing travel times and taking trucks off local roads.
Spark will build Victoria’s longest road tunnels and a new tree-lined Greensborough Road boulevard as well as delivering:
- Simpler interchanges at Lower Plenty Road and Manningham Road
- 5 MCGs of new community parklands at Borlase Reserve
- A new Bulleen Road with safer access to schools, playing fields and sporting clubs
- A new Yarra Link green bridge connecting Koonung Creek Trail to Yarra River parklands.
