Delivered virtually, there will be four sessions as part of this learning program. All sessions are two hours in length.

This masterclass focuses on the skills needed to scale social impact from within your organisation, combining lived experiences and applied theories from industry trailblazers who will establish best practice techniques that you can apply immediately!

What you’ll learn

Session 1: Discover how social procurement is catching on globally

In Session One, we’ll dive into social procurement.

  • Discover the origins, history, and evolution of social procurement.
  • Learn why social procurement is fundamental to sustainable business growth.
  • Unlock the various ways to embed social procurement into your business.
Session 2: Identify and strengthen your response to potential barriers

In Session Two, we’ll explore the barriers – real and imagined, and bust common myths to create a clear pathway to unlock business for good.

  • Personal/individual – explore the driving forces behind change resistance, and build strategies to activate change champions.
  • Organisational – explore the parts of your organisation most resistant to change, and build strategies to empower engagement.
  • Systemic – understand and navigate government policies to support your drive for change.
Session 3: Unlock the tools and expertise to create lasting social value

In Session Three, we’ll unpack what it takes to create real change:

  • Discover how a Theory of Change framework can support your bold initiatives.
  • Maximise value from impact measurement, and explore its inherent complexities.
  • Learn how we capture and report impact created through social procurement to guide your own change journey.
  • Build a compelling narrative to describe impact.
Session 4: Take decisive action to become a change champion

In Session Four, we’ll bring in our team of social procurement experts to provide insights and catalyse your journey as a social procurement frontrunner.

  • Develop your pitch for creating social impact through procurement.
  • Find your own authentic voice and message in making the case for social procurement.
  • Hear from those already leading the charge on how to effectively drive change.
