For ICN to facilitate the best outcome for those that register on our database, it is imperative that we house an accurate reflection of information so we put your business forward for opportunities. Most of our ‘enquiry’ work isn’t done through our on-line ICN Gateway portal, it is predominately provided to proponents, both public and private sectors, through direct communication. If your profile doesn’t truly reflect your products and services, it may mean a lost opportunity.
We are allocating 5 businesses a week to our Industry Advisors who firstly must analyse the information provided on their profiles before touching base to suggest any changes. One business described provides a business history with little detail. Actually, it’s a building company that offers considerable services. However, with the information we hold, they have not maximised any benefits ICN can provide – and our records show that.
Our Advisor has suggested including descriptions which will show up in a key word search including builders, maintenance, renovators, extensions, new homes, timber decking, bathroom renovations, tiling. There are quite a few more words that have been added, the point being they are easier to find in a search. And they’ll get more out of ICN.
