New ICN Victoria Head Grant Anderson has a great track record

Industry Capability Network Victoria is delighted to announce that Grant Anderson, previously CEO of Victorian manufacturing company ANCA Group, is its new Executive Director.

“We are very pleased to welcome Grant to the helm.  It’s a credit to ICN and the work being done to help Victorian businesses get opportunities on projects, that a leader of Grant’s calibre has taken on this important role,” ICN Victoria Chairman, Tim Piper said.

With over 40 years in the design and manufacturing sectors Mr Anderson’s portfolio includes experience as an international Chairman, non-executive Director, CEO, Managing Director and Executive Director across manufacturing, environmental services and logistics sectors for both publicly listed and private companies.

“The Industry Capability Network plays an important role making sure businesses across Victoria have an opportunity to share in the State Government’s record $56 billion infrastructure pipeline. I look forward to working with Grant to make sure businesses continue to grow,” The Hon Ben Carroll, Minister for Industry and Employment said.

“I’m very happy to accept this position and look forward to giving back to Victorian businesses,” Mr Anderson said.

“I understand the complexities and challenges large and small companies face in a changing landscape and am excited by the opportunity to use my experience to contribute to ICN’s long history of helping to increase the number of home-grown companies working on projects and other procurement options in Victoria.”

Grant has held senior leadership roles at the ANCA Group, PBR International, Schefenacker, Britax International and MHG Plastics and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute and a life member of the FAPM. 

“On behalf of the Board and all staff, we extend a warm welcome to Grant, a visionary and accomplished operator who is well placed to lead ICN into the future,” Mr Piper said.

Mr Anderson started in his position this week.
