Hydro Australia Darwin provides servicing and pump refurbishment, engineering, and onsite field service to the mining, oil & gas (onshore and offshore) and utilities industries.

With support from their head office in Victoria, the Darwin branch opened in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have far surpassed their expectation for 2020 and have secured employment for many local service technicians.

Some of their capabilities include complete pump overhauls on end suction, split case, vertical turbine multistage and multistage pumps, general machining, dynamic balancing in house and reverse engineering.

In late 2020 they installed a new lathe and dynamic balancing machine to allow them to continue developing the workshop tooling, which they are hoping to showcase in the future by holding an open day at their Yarrawonga facility.

They have achieved much success in their short time in Darwin by obtaining service contracts and delivering on various workshop and onsite jobs. Their success has ensured them work for the foreseeable future.

The Darwin team is excited to be able to visit their existing customers in 2021. They are always looking to diversify into other industries that utilise pumps and look forward to developing long term relationships with local suppliers and Territory businesses.
