What is ICN NSW?

In NSW, ICN is supported by NSW Government to assist urban and regional communities to increase economic prosperity.

ICN NSW was established in 1985 and is funded by NSW Government. Everything we do is guided by a clear vision to help increase economic activity and jobs for the business community of New South Wales and, more generally, Australia.

We introduce businesses of all sizes to projects large and small across NSW, to a network of experienced industry procurement and supply chain specialists.

Executive Director

Ian Hudson

Ian Hudson is currently Executive Director of ICN NSW. He started his business career in the consumer goods packaging industry as a cadet at Amatil Ltd. He then moved through junior accounting and operations roles to develop a sound appreciation of business and into sales and product management positions in the industrial packaging and building materials industries. From there he undertook marketing roles in the food packaging industry which involved everything from corporate marketing to new product development and capital expenditure programmes. This broad experience was then utilised as a business consultant assisting manufacturers, local governments and not-for-profits. He now fills the role of Executive Director with ICN following previous roles at ICN as Regional Manager, Manager Agrifood and Economic Development Officer Aboriginal Business.

Senior Consultant – Sydney Metropolitan

Thuy Ho

With a background in the oil and gas industry, Thuy joined ICN in 2009 to support the resources drive on projects like Gorgon and Ichthys. Before that started though, it was engagement in the Building the Education stimulus program that provided exposure to the depth and scale of ICN’s reach in connecting businesses with opportunities. Since then, Thuy has had involvement in projects large and small across a diverse range of sectors to appreciate Australian industry’s ingenuity and resilience. Based in ICN NSW North Sydney office, Thuy oversees metropolitan Sydney projects and has been enjoying the challenges and rewards in looking after transformational and community impacting projects like the NSW Bushfire Clean-up Program and Sydney Metro.

Regional Manager – Hunter and North East

Dusko Bajic

Dusko is a highly experienced Manager with 40 years’ experience in the development, design, procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects across Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Dusko has held senior roles for the last 20 years with Tier 1 contractors: Barclay Mowlem/Laing O’Rourke, Abigroup and Lendlease prior to joining ICN NSW in Regional Manager – Hunter & Northern role in 2017.

His extensive experience in procurement strategy, commercial alignment, contract award, project mobilisation & overseeing contract administration is a key asset for the current role with ICN.

Since 2018 Dusko fills the role of NSW Defence Industry Manager for the major defence projects and Advisor to the Hunter Defence Task Force.

Regional Manager - Murray Riverina

Geoff Reardon

Geoff joined ICN NSW as the regional manager for the Riverina Murray in May 2020.

Prior to commencing with ICN NSW Geoff worked to assist national and international construction companies and machinery supply chain in the area of safety and compliance.

Prior to that he worked in the area of material supply to the construction industry. Geoff is committed to facilitating connections between buyers and suppliers for their mutual benefit.

Beti Krsteski

Beti Krsteski joined ICN NSW as Regional Manager for the Illawarra South East of NSW in May 2022

Having a passion for economic development and local industry experience across government, employment and non for profit, Beti’s specialities include government relations, stakeholder management, continuous improvement, and business development.

Beti is committed to connecting local businesses to project opportunities across various sectors, including defence, health, mining, energy, and infrastructure, and focusing on developing regional supply chain opportunities to deliver economic and positive social outcomes.

Marcus Batten

Marcus Batten joined ICN NSW as Modern Manufacturing Manager in March 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from his management roles in various multinational manufacturing organizations. Marcus has diverse industry experiences across business, industrial, mining, utilities, maritime, government, and defence providing transformation and optimization management.

With his new role at ICN NSW, Marcus is well-equipped to help local manufacturers to identify the new modern manufacturing opportunities and drive their business to grow.

David Norris

David Norris is a highly experienced sales leader with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a background as a construction operations manager and is highly qualified in business management. David has a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, developing effective selling models and account management strategies, and fostering innovation. He also possesses extensive knowledge of the Australian business environment. As the new Regional Manager for the NSW Central West region, David will leverage his expertise to connect local suppliers in the construction industry with major projects and exciting new opportunities.
