ICNL was proud to once again sponsor the Global Supply Chain Integration of the Year Award at this year’s Manufacturing Monthly Endeavour Awards, and congratulate winner RoboHelix.
The Sydney-based design and manufacturing company specialises in industrial robotic automation for a global market. The company developed the first and only robotic flight forming machine in the world, revolutionising screw auger manufacturing.
ICN Executive Director, Warren Jansen, said the sponsorship of the Award “speaks to the heart of what we do, which is to honour the capability of local businesses”.
“With everything that’s happened in the last couple of years, we see it as a responsibility to keep on pushing local content and the capability of Australian companies to the world. These awards support that.”
Warren praised the local manufacturing industry for showing great resilience in the face of COVID-19 disruptions to supply chains, as the quality of award entrants proved.
“A lot of manufacturers have shown grit, courage and adaptability that has been pivotal to the way we’ve come out on the other side,” he said.
“We’ve got a long way to go, but I think resilience has played a huge part in being able to navigate what’s been a very turbulent couple of years.
The Endeavour Awards are recognised as the premier Awards program for the manufacturing industry.
