ICNWA is excited to announce our partnership With IEBFAC (Indigenous Emerging Business Forum Aboriginal Corporation). This significant partnership will provide an authentic, culturally- sensitive approach to Aboriginal business engagement.

IEBFAC will provide an Aboriginal employee who will support ICNWA to validate businesses on the ABDWA (Aboriginal Business Directory of Western Australia). John O’Driscoll, CEO of IEBFAC stated that this partnership will markedly improve the integrity of the of the directory and ensure that genuine Aboriginal businesses are represented and able to receive future works. Barry McGuire Director of Culture, IEBFAC highlighted that it’s an important step for reconciliation in this state having an IEBF Aboriginal Corporation working side by side with ICNWA sharing knowledge to strengthen the WA Aboriginal Business sector.

The ABDWA is prescribed by the Department of Finance in their Aboriginal Procurement Policies. This directory is a free service which brings together Aboriginal businesses operating in Western Australia with potential buyers.

Ray Loh, Manager of ICNWA added that this partnership will provide strong cultural endorsement for how ICNWA engages with Aboriginal businesses. IEBFAC and ICNWA look forward to working closely together.
