The company has partnered with CSIRO and the Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC) is using its superStorage family of batteries to develop and manage an NSW-made alternative to overseas produced battery management systems, which is critical for the operating efficiency of a battery. These batteries can be used in grid and microgrid, renewables, community storage, mining electrification, Defence SilentWatch applications, buses, and in light commercial and industrial vehicles. The Government announced the construction of Eurobodalla Southern Storage, a new 3,000ML off-stream water storage facility and a new 26ML per-day river pumping station on the Tuross River in Southern NSW in mid-June 2021. Deputy PM says Moruya bypass won’t impact funding for Eurobodalla Hospital, About Regional
The Deputy PM was in Moruya recently to announce a new dam west of Bodalla and also reassured residents that the Federal Government plans to fund 80% of the Moruya bypass, part of the $1.5b upgrade to the Princes Highway, and this would not be affected by the planned Eurobodalla Hospital in Moruya. NSW budget sets $50M for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 planning, Roads & Infrastructure Magazine
NSW Minister for Transport Andrew Constance announced in June 2020 that the new funding will go towards the Project’s Stage 2 planning, utilities and geotechnical investigations, and the Environmental Impact Statement. The State-critical Project will create links between Sydney Metro West at Parramatta, Westmead and Sydney Olympic Park and the existing rail network at Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park and ferries at Parramatta, Rydalmere and Wentworth Point.
