We are all being updated daily on the various actions being adopted by organisations to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been hearing encouraging stories of innovation and adaptation and of course, unfortunately, closure of local businesses.
In line with all the assistance programs currently being rolled out for business across the Territory, ICN is undertaking some initiatives of its own to assist businesses and individuals to cope with the current challenges.
National Portal for Critical Supplies in Response to COVID-19
ICN is working with government at all levels throughout Australia in response to COVID-19. A gateway page has been developed in parallel to the Australian Government and other organisations requests for information around the supply of critical products. This portal allows suppliers to register interest to provide critical products and services and to enable the identification of supply chain gaps.
Northern Territory Opportunities Portal
ICN NT in support of initiatives by the Northern Territory Government and other industry bodies has established a gateway page to facilitate the promotion of local opportunities. The portal aims to promote business opportunities of any size, without restrictions around particular sectors. ICN is offering this as a free service to support the local industry during these challenging times.
Territory Jobs Hub
The Northern Territory Government has launched, in conjunction with ICN NT and Cited, a free platform to assist workers in finding other jobs and businesses that need workers to connect quickly with those looking for work.
ICN is also continuing to provide our core service of bringing opportunities to the business community. In the last two weeks, there have been a few new Northern Territory projects loaded onto ICN Gateway including the Tanami Expansion 2 Project, the Redevelopment of John Stokes Square – Residential Precinct Construction and the Middle Arm Battery Project.
We are still operating from our office for the time being, but this is a day to day proposition. Either way, our team will be available for contact as per the usual methods.
