ICN Victoria is delighted to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership with the South East Melbourne Manufacturers Alliance (SEMMA), aimed at enhancing collaboration and fostering a more advantageous relationship within the manufacturing sector. The southeast region of Melbourne, renowned for its significant contributions to the rolling stock and general manufacturing sectors, as well as for its vibrant social enterprise community, stands at the core of this initiative.
In a significant step towards solidifying this partnership, ICN Victoria’s CEO, Nick Foa, recently convened with SEMMA’s CEO, Honi Walker, to officiate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This formal agreement not only cements the foundation of our pre-existing relationship but also signifies our shared commitment to fortifying the bonds and collaborative efforts between our two organisations.
Aligned with the Victorian Government’s Local Jobs First Policy, ICN Victoria seeks to amplify the distinctive capabilities of SEMMA’s members. We are poised to continue utilising our expansive networks within the industry and government, facilitated by our Industry Advisers, to promote the manufacturing hub that is Melbourne’s southeast.
We eagerly anticipate expanding the exposure of SEMMA’s members to new prospects through the ICN Gateway, maximising the benefit of ICN Victoria’s extensive connections.
