Opportunities to connect Australian suppliers with major project supply chains has just become more accessible with Industry Capability Network and Connecting Industry entering into a strategic alliance, as event partners.

The strategic alliance is designed to assist the resource and construction industry and all tiers of the supply chain, from SME’s through to large civil construction and engineering companies, on the latest project and procurement information via virtual live streaming events.

ICN Limited Chief Executive Officer, Warren Jansen said the aim of this partnership is to showcase and make it affordable for the Australian supply chain to access information about upcoming procurement and work opportunities, adding value to ICN’s core platform, ICN Gateway.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that it is still possible to provide excellent networking opportunities online. Connecting Industry facilitate online events delivered via live video streaming allowing the audience to connect, engage, network, and have private and public face to face meetings with presenting speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and all attendees,” Warren continued

With technology advancements and enhanced digital connectivity, Connecting Industry’s goal is to connect industry and business by maximising value based on sustainability for all stakeholders. They provide cost savings to organisations who no longer have to spend thousands of dollars on tickets, travel, food, and accommodation to attend an event, ensuring social, economic, and environmental impact is minimal.

“The focus of our events is to provide a platform for the resource and construction companies to promote major project work and procurement opportunities to the supply chain,” said Kieran Moran, Connecting Industry Managing Director said.

“With technology advancements and enhanced digital connectivity, our goal is to connect industry to the supply chain by making opportunities accessible and maximising value based on sustainability for all stakeholders.

“The online events platform is delivered via live video streaming allowing attending delegates to not only connect, engage, network, and have live face to face meetings with presenting projects and delegates, but to do so at an affordable cost from anywhere in Australia.

“Our mission is to connect the resource and construction sector and create opportunities for all stakeholders by embracing sustainability and we believe this partnership will allow the supply chain to contribute with purpose, where their social, economic, and environmental impact is minimal.”
