This $673.3 million project will have a massive impact on the Tweed Valley community and will revolutionise health care in the wider Tweed-Byron region.
Lendlease completed the project’s early works stage in late 2020, including earthworks, installation of infrastructure services, civil works and foundations. Local subcontractors and suppliers have been awarded a number of packages as Lendlease began construction of the main hospital buildings in early 2021.

Momentum Trains, an international consortium comprising CAF, UGL Rail Services, Pacific Partnerships, CAF Investment Projects and DIF Infrastructure V Coöperatief, is responsible for delivering the Regional Rail Fleet Project for the NSW Government.
The $176m contract includes project financing, designing, building and maintaining the new regional rail fleet as well as designing, building, maintaining and operating the new purpose-built fleet maintenance facility in Dubbo.
CAF has engaged CPB to design and construct the Dubbo Maintenance Facility. The first new trains are expected to be running by 2023, with the full fleet coming into service progressively. All contracts have now been awarded.
