Hello,

September was a huge month, with headlining events like NT Resources Week bringing together industry and some of the largest projects planned for the Territory. I had the privilege of speaking at the South East Asia Australia Offshore Conference, part of the NT Resources Week, covering:

  • An outlook on historical and forecasted major projects
  • The importance of supply chain mapping
  • Business opportunities and growth sectors

One key highlight was presenting a twelve-year review of the procurement value facilitated by ICN NT. In a nutshell, the $6.2 billion we facilitated for the 2023 financial year is approaching our 2011 peak of $7 billion. However,  rather than being driven by one dominant sector, it’s a more diverse pipeline of incoming projects across various sectors.  Additionally, in September alone, we were consulted on contracting opportunities exceeding $1.2 billion across a range of Territory projects. These opportunities are set to move into the bidding and assessment stages in the months ahead. To bolster our growth and procurement capabilities, we’ve expanded our Industry Advisors team from four to seven, increasing our total staff count to fifteen. These new additions will be instrumental in connecting local businesses with project opportunities. If you are interested in exploring future project pipelines, reach out to us. We’re also open to visiting your business premises to gain a firsthand understanding of your capabilities.

Regards,

Daniel McCormick
