Moderna and ICN Victoria are hosting this briefing to showcase available opportunities for capable local industry partners to participate in the operational work packages for Moderna mRNA Vaccine Facility.

The mRNA vaccine facility is being established under a 10-year partnership between Moderna and the Australian and Victorian Governments and is expected to be the first facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
The construction of the facility has hit the half-way mark, with the facility expected to be complete towards the end of 2024, and commercial supply of respiratory vaccine(s) being available from the site for the 2025 respiratory season (pending regulatory approval). Moderna is in the process of setting up its supply chain and procurement for operational packages (i.e. goods and services required to operate the facility).
