ICN Tasmania has partnered with Renewables, Climate and Future Industries Tasmania to develop the Renewable Energy – Tasmanian Supply Chain Capability Directory and is calling on suppliers with an interest in renewable energy projects to register for a directory listing.
The goal is to identify and detail Tasmanian businesses and companies currently operating, or with the capability to work on and supply, renewable energy projects.
According to industry advisor Bruno Ferreira, Tasmania businesses “have a diverse range of capabilities that can help proponents deliver renewable energy projects.”
‘The directory will help renewable energy proponents to identify Tasmanian businesses with the capabilities they need,” he said.
“It aims to increase the participation of Tasmanian providers of goods and services in future renewable energy projects and to grow local industry capability and capacity.
“Suppliers included in the directory will receive first-hand notifications of expression of interests for renewable energy projects. they will also be matched with and promoted to project proponents depending on the proponent’s requirements.”
The directory will allow renewable energy project proponents to work with ICN Tasmania to match business capability with the exact requirements of a project, and support them to deliver all projects.
“Renewable energy projects are multi-faceted undertakings that offer a wide range of supply opportunities in such things as components, electrical balance of plant, civil/site works and project management services,” Bruno said.
“If you think you have business capabilities to supply into renewable energy projects, you can submit an expression of interest to be included in the directory.
“You must have an ICN Gateway company profile to register. A basic package is free and takes about 20 minutes to set up.”
One you are registered, you can join the directory, be submitting an expression of interest on the Tasmanian Renewable Energy Supply Chain Directory Gateway page.
