Lendlease – Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne Stage 2 (MAPT North)

Do you have the talent to manufacture world class auditorium seating?  

Project owners Lendlease are keen to speak with you for this vital piece of furniture to be manufactured and installed in the State Theatre as part of the $300 million Art Centre refurbishment. 

Comfort, looks and accessibility will all be a focus for the new seating, expressions of interest should also consider local materials, social enterprise and sustainable practices being taken into consideration.  

This is the most significant refurbishment of the State Theatre since its opening in 1984. Further work packages will be released in the coming months. 

Be part of this much loved and iconic Melbourne theatre as it is upgraded to services the arts and entertainment for decades to come.
