Great Eastern Offshore Wind

Great Eastern Offshore Wind (GEOW) is being developed by Corio Generation, which is an Australian-owned Macquarie Green Investment Group portfolio company, operating on a standalone basis. The Great Eastern Offshore Wind Project (GEOW) is a proposed 2.5 GW offshore wind project located approximately 22 kilometers off the Wellington Shire coast in Gippsland.

The GEOW project will include:

  • An offshore windfarm with up to 2.5 GW of generating capacity
  • An offshore substation with array and export cables, and
  • An onshore export cable and onshore substation which will connect to existing transmission infrastructure.
