ICN helps NSW Government increase local and indigenous industry participation in the Eden Breakwater Wharf upgrade
Eden, on the far south coast of New South Wales, is set to become a major domestic cruising destination with the extension and upgrade of the Eden Breakwater Wharf, and local businesses are already reaping the benefits. ICN NSW has worked closely with the NSW State Government from the beginning of the project, including attending mandatory pre-tender briefings and developing work packages that aligned with the local industry participation plan.

ICN helps Basetec open doors to new markets and more contracts
Adelaide-based composite pipe manufacturer, Basetec Services, has become an important supplier to Australia’s growing oil and gas industry. In 2014/15, Basetec has forged 3 new partnerships with Abu Dhabi, Egypt and Nigeria. These agreements created a joint venture company, based in Adelaide, to respond to a global demand for high pressure, anti-corrosive, composite pipes.

Arrow Energy has awarded a multi-year contract to a local family-owned business identified through the Industry Capability Network (ICN) Gateway. Ambush Security was successful in winning Arrow Energy’s tender to upgrade the electronic and physical security requirements for the company’s sites in Dalby, Daandine, Tipton and Moranbah.

Thanks to an ongoing partnership with Industry Capability Network (ICN), Dandenong-based electronic manufacturers, SRX, has seen its revenue grow by 35 per cent in the past year, despite significant pessimism about manufacturing in Victoria.
